Engineering 425: Part of the engineering entrepreneurship course, this class gave Elton the ability to take an idea and work in groups to develop it into a business. Formal business plan, market research, intellectual property, financial estimates are some of the things I've worked with.

Also taught him to perform economic analysis of alternative engineering projects through familiarity with basic concepts of the time value of money, cash flow, and equivalence.

- Junkyard Wars: Competition where junk was used to create a product and sell it. Overall team placed 3rd.
- Crash and Burn : 4 weeks to sell products to make the most money.

- New Idea competition: Worked on an idea and generated a business plan around it in mere 3 weeks. Business Plan writing, market analysis, finances and sales were some of things learned during this.
